In January 2024, SWEA Boston had the pleasure of granting a group of students $12,000 for a faculty-student trip to Sweden in July 2024.

This study trip is part of a course ”Global Perspectives in Public Health” which is offered to students in May-July led by Dr. Elinor Fondell, Assistant Professor at Worcester State University (WSU). 12 female undergraduate students who are studying public health and/or nursing, will participate in the program. They will be visiting Region Stockholm, Karolinska Institutet and also have online sessions with Mälardalens University before the trip.
